In a way, it’s good when things like a blackout happen. I don’t want people to think I’m implying it’s good for people to get stuck in elevators or trains. We live our lives these days at such a fast pace. Also, there’s a lot we take for granted. A blackout happens and everything has to stop. I think we’d all be better served by slowing down a little bit.

At the very least if you can say one good thing that came out of September 11th was that people are a lot more patient and helpful to each other when a crisis occurs.
